Bun bridge bun is a 14-cell strict still life consisting of two mutually stabilising buns. It is one of six ways in which two buns can be arranged to create a still life, and the only one which only has a single island.

Commonness

Bun bridge bun is about the 198th most common out of 619 14-cell still lifes.

Glider synthesis

All strict still lifes with a population of 22 or fewer cells, all oscillators with 16 or fewer cells, and all spaceships with 31 or fewer cells are known to be glider-constructible. A glider synthesis of this object can be found in the infobox to the right.
