Occurrence

It is the 33rd most common (i.e. 14th rarest) 11-cell still life out of 46. It is 35 times more common than the cis-long⁴ hook with tail. Surprisingly, it is more common (about 1.6×) than the cis-very long hook with tail, which has one fewer cell.

This still life does not occur in final patterns of collisions in octohash, octo3obj or octo3g databases.

Isomers

This still life is comprised of the normally unstable long³ hook with a normally unstable tail attached. This is one of two possible isomers, named cis due to the corner part of the hook being closer to the tail; the other isomer, trans-long³ hook with tail, has this corner part slightly farther.
