Claw with nine or hook with nine[1] is a 12-cell still life. This still life is comprised of the normally unstable claw with a normally unstable nine attached.
It can be substitutively referred to as the integral with claw, with one pre-block of the integral sign replaced with a claw, however "claw with nine" is usually preferred for this object.
Glider synthesis

This still life can be constructed with five gliders;[1] a two-stage synthesis is shown above. Alternate syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database.[2]
Commonness
- Main article: List of common still lifes
Among still lifes with 12 cells, this ranks 21st out of 121 according to Catagolue. Among all still lifes, it ranks 166th.
There are no collisions in octohash, octo3obj or octo3g databases with this still life occurring in the ash.
