Edge-repair spaceship 1 is a c/3 orthogonal edge-repair spaceship that was found by David Bell in 1992. It was the first edge-repair spaceship to be discovered, though the usefulness of its edge-repair property wasn't recognized until July 1997.

The extremely similar 25P3H1V0.1 and 25P3H1V0.2, also found by Bell in 1992, are also edge-repair spaceships and are displayed below. They are notable because they both contain minimum of only 25 cells, which is the least known for any c/3 orthogonal spaceship (in fact, 25P3H1V0.2 contains exactly 25 cells in all three of its phases).
