Edge-repair spaceship 1 is a c/3 orthogonal edge-repair spaceship that was found by David Bell in 1992. It was the first edge-repair spaceship to be discovered, though the usefulness of its edge-repair property wasn't recognized until July 1997.
The extremely similar 25P3H1V0.1 and 25P3H1V0.2, also found by Bell in 1992, are displayed below. They are notable because they both contain minimum of only 25 cells, which is the least known for any c/3 orthogonal spaceship (in fact, 25P3H1V0.2 contains exactly 25 cells in all three of its phases). 25P3H1V0.1 also retains its edge-repair property.
