Electric fence is a stabilization of ants and is a period 5 oscillator. It was found by Dean Hickerson in February 1993. Its heat is 48.8 + 8n, where n is the number of ants between the two stabilizing sides (n = 3 for a heat of 72.8 in the example image given on this page).
