House siamese shillelagh is a 13-cell still life.

As its name implies, this still life can be seen to contain a house and shillelagh sharing cells. It very closely resembles bookend siamese shillelagh.

This is the smallest way to stabilize a house. As a house can act as an eater 1 if both sides are used at once, it sometimes gets used in symmetric oscillators despite being asymmetric itself.

Occurrence

See also: List of common still lifes, List of still lifes with 13 cells

House siamese shillelagh is the 128th most common still life on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue, being less common than very long shillelagh but more common than long hook with tail. Among all still lifes with 13 cells, it is the 10th most common, being less common than beehive bridge bun but more common than krake.[4] There is one collision in the octo3obj database with this still life in the ash.[5]
