Hungry hat (or integral with tail) is a small still life, analyzable as a weld of a hat and an eater 1, or alternatively an integral and a tail. It also can eat gliders.

It is the 99th most common still life on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue.

On March 28, 2007, Dean Hickerson found a 4-glider synthesis of this still life.[1]
