The first known semi-natural appearance of this oscillator was in December 2014, in a symmetricsoup found by Dongook Lee using apgsearch.[2] 1 in 56 million symmetric soups in the correct symmetry form a Karel's p28. A period-56 LCM consisting of a Karel's p28 interacting with four figure eights has occurred seminaturally; this is the only p56 oscillator to appear from soup so far.
