Long6 snake (or absurdly long snake) is a 12-cell still life, an extension of snake.
Construction
This still life is known to be constructible with 6 gliders.[1] A 7-glider synthesis was found in March 2021.[2] A 6-glider synthesis was found in February 2024.[3][4] Some known syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database.[5]

Occurrence
Among the 121 still lifes with 12 cells, this is the rarest of them all according to Catagolue.
There are no collisions in octohash, octo3obj or octo3g databases with this still life occurring in the ash.
