Merzenich's p11 is a period-11 oscillator discovered by Matthias Merzenich In December, 2010. It uses a tub as a rock.
On October 17, 2021, May13 found a final step for a glider synthesis of this oscillator.[1] On August 25, 2023, May13 posted a complete 206-glider synthesis using the same basic activation reaction implemented in a different way.[2][3] The synthesis was reduced to 178 gliders the next day.[4][5]
