Mold on 34P14 shuttle is the smallest known non-trivial period-28 oscillator. Although it consists of a mold and a 34P14 shuttle (which have periods of 4 and 14 respectively), it is considered non-trivial because it has one cell which is alive in generation 19 and dead in the other 27 phases.
