Mold on fire-spitting is a period-12 oscillator composed of a mold and a fire-spitting. Although it is composed of two oscillators of smaller periods (4 and 3 respectively), it is considered non-trivial, because it has three cells that oscillate with the full period. In terms of its minimum population of 31 cells it is the smallest known period 12 oscillator, surpassing dinner table and caterer on 21P4.1.
