Mold on fire-spitting is a period-12 oscillator composed of a mold and a fire-spitting. Although it is composed of two oscillators of smaller periods (4 and 3 respectively), it is considered non-trivial, because it has three cells that oscillate with the full period. In terms of its minimum population of 31 cells it is the smallest known non-trivial period 12 oscillator, surpassing dinner table and caterer on 21P4.1, although the trivial mold on candlefrobra contains only 24 cells.
