B2i3/S23 is an isotropic non-totalistic cellular automaton. In this rule, a cell survives from one generation to the next when it has 2 or 3 neighbours, and a new cell is born when it has 2 opposite orthogonally adjacent neighbours or when it has 3 neighbours. A name "HoneyBomb Life" was proposed for this rule, because honeyfarm predecessors evolve into a sparky p20 oscillator instead.[1]
Patterns
Some patterns from regular Life are compatible with this rule except most spaceships (two exceptions are the glider and 70P2H1V0.1). Honey farm constellations exist in the rule, but common predecessors from Life evolve into the p20 "honeybomb" shown below:

Even though B2i3/S23 only differs from Life in one birth condition (B2i), most large soups tend to explode. An example 8-cell exploding pattern is shown below:
