The p280 U-turner hassler is an oscillator that was discovered by Christopher D'Agostino on August 14, 2023,[1] and was reduced the next day by iNoMed.[2]

The original 160-cell form supported the engine with four 34P7 sparkers and four tubs; adding a second U-turner results in a period-140 oscillator, shown below. On the next day, iNoMed reduced the oscillator to 86 cells by replacing p7 sparkers with figure eights.[2] The p140 version cannot be reduced in this way.
