p576 R-pentomino hassler is a period-576 oscillator found by David Raucci on June 9, 2021. It consists of two R-pentomino descendants with 180° rotational symmetry interacting and being perturbed by Rich's p16s.[1] On the top and bottom, there are four blocks; these suppress B-heptominoes; replacing a block with a conduit can create a glider gun or Factory in many different ways. To the left and right, in addition to the Rich's p16s, there are four blocks; in the phase with the R-pentomino descendants, these blocks can be left out, and they'll be automatically placed as the oscillator completes its cycle. With the blocks present, they are temporarily destroyed and then replaced. A pair of queen bees can be seen in part of the evolutionary sequence.

This oscillator is very similar to the p486 R-pentomino hassler in many ways: it was found by the same person with the same search program in the same year, it has an extremely high period with prime factors of only 2 and 3, it is an R-pentomino hassler, it has 180° symmetry and mod equal to half its period, they are both suppressed factories and there are blocks on the top and bottom and sparkers on the left and right.
