p576 R-pentomino hassler is a period-576oscillator found by David Raucci on June 9, 2021. It consists of two R-pentomino descendants with 180° rotational symmetry interacting and being perturbed by Rich's p16s.[1] On the top and bottom, there are four blocks; these suppress B-heptominoes; replacing a block with a conduit can create a glider gun or Factory in many different ways. To the left and right, in addition to the Rich's p16s, there are four blocks; in the phase with the R-pentomino descendants, these blocks can be left out, and they'll be automatically placed as the oscillator completes its cycle. With the blocks present, they are temporarily destroyed and then replaced. A pair of queen bees can be seen in part of the evolutionary sequence.
This oscillator is very similar to the p486 R-pentomino hassler in many ways: it was found by the same person with the same search program in the same year, it has an extremely high period with prime factors of only 2 and 3, it is an R-pentomino hassler, it has 180° symmetry and mod equal to half its period, it is isotropically endemic, they are both suppressed factories and there are blocks on the top and bottom and sparkers on the left and right.
