It emits V sparks and domino sparks. One example of its use as a V sparker, functionally a dot, is for a completion of this p68 B-heptomino hassler, where the partial was found by Noam Elkies in 1996 and appears in jslife. This oscillator was previously completed with a larger p68 long bun hassler as a sparker.

A 16-glider synthesis of the p68 century hassler was found on April 27, 2023.[2] On July 2, 2023, a 15-glider synthesis was found along with a 14-glider synthesis for the "block in other location" form of the oscillator,[3][4][5][6] followed quickly by a 14-glider synthesis for the original form.[7][8]
LCM oscillators
The LCM oscillators below are listed due to being the smallest known ones by population, while also satisfying the condition that at least one cell oscillates at the full period.
