p79 pi-heptomino hassler is the smallest known period-79 oscillator, found by Luke Kiernan on September 27, 2022 using symmetric CatForce. It is also the first known "interesting" oscillator with this period, with all previous examples using adjustable-period mechanisms.

A 31-glider synthesis exists for the oscillator where the snakes are replaced with fishhooks using the same snake rock reaction.
