A period-144 glider gun is a glider gun with true period 144. The first one, new gun 2, was found by Bill Gosper in July 1994. See factory for a full description and pattern. The former smallest p144 gun, assembled by Chris Cain in 2016, uses the same base p72 oscillator, but the spark that extracts the glider is provided by Rich's p16.[1] The current smallest, shown to the right, was assembled by iNoMed in November 2021, using a new variant of Achim's p144.[2]
