David Raucci's p89 partial from May 25, 2021, supported with sparks from outside the frame (zoom out to see a sample support structure) (click above to open LifeViewer)
Outside the frame, the above pattern includes a sample completion by Sphenocorona, May13, and Entity Valkyrie 2,[8] using a high-clearance Herschel-to-dominoconverter. Glider-gun-based stabilizations like this one are not usually counted as valid completions of an oscillator engine when collecting completed oscillators, and are not added to the "b3s23osc" oscillator stamp collection.[note 1]
Notes
↑Glider-based completions are possible for oscillator engines of many different periods not currently represented in the collection, but the resulting oscillators are too large and unwieldy to be notable. In part this is because the guns themselves could be trivially adjusted to become much smaller oscillators of the same periods, with no need for the stabilized engine.
