Pre-pulsar shuttle 28 is a period-28 pre-pulsar shuttle oscillator. It consists of a pre-pulsar being hassled by two 14-generation shuttle mechanisms.
A smaller 14-generation pre-pulsar shuttle mechanism was found by thunk on November 17, 2016, allowing the construction of a 53-cell variant of the shuttle. This variant was tied with mold on 41P7.2 and T-nosed p4 on 28P7.4 as the smallest known non-trivial period 28 oscillator until the discovery of mold on 34P14 shuttle in 2018.
