Pulshuttle V is a period-30 pre-pulsar shuttle oscillator found by Robert Wainwright in May 1985 .[1] A 48-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found by GUYTU6J on June 2, 2021 .[2]
The synthesis cost was later reduced to 47 gliders.
A 46-glider synthesis was found in April 2023 .[3]
