Speed Orthogonal Loopship is an adjustable loopship constructed on November 11, 2022 by Goldtiger997. The spaceship is glide symmetric, with a speed of 137457528c/309254024 (or about 4c/9). It can be adjusted to arbitrarily fast velocities by moving the southern-most MWSS further south by a multiple of 2 ticks. It is also possible to adjust the speed by modifying the size of the snark loop, which is done by modifying the size of some of the gaps in the recipe. The minimum population is about 1.5 million, much less than Speed Orthogonoid.[1] Over the next few days, Goldtiger997 improved the design, and constructed a 7766080c/209071672 spaceship, the first SMOS made entirely out of xWSSs.[2]
