The (beehive, loaf, mango) progression is just one example of a common relationship between still-lives:

...    ....    .o..
.o.    .oo.    o.o.
o.o -> o..o -> o..o
o.o    .o.o    .o.o

Others that follow this pattern are the hat->loop->11-loop, hungry hat->snorkel loop->13-snorkel loop, and small ghost (xs16_35s2s53zx1)->ghost (xs17_39mkicz321)->big ghost (xs18_39mkia4z321). I think the sentence about this relationship should be kept on the page.

Fair enough! Is there a name for this progression? If it's a common thing it might actually warrant its own page as well. Apple Bottom (talk)
I don't see the point. This is the first time I've heard of the (beehive, loaf, mango) progression. Its occurrence in other objects like hat->loop->11-loop and others was practically never commented on, except possibly by one editor back in 2013. The progression is neither linear nor infinite, and I'd say I would never have associated the beehive, loaf and mango with each other in this manner had this discussion not occurred. Also, four tildes (~~~~) are required for a signature. FractalFusion (talk) 21:09, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
I cleaned the other pages. Patterns which have no historical basis to be "thought of as a long version" (or such) of some other pattern had such text removed and links to the other patterns moved to the corresponding "See Also" section. Also removed some text about replacing "noses" with "four-cell feet" or other such things that are hard to understand. FractalFusion (talk) 04:29, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
