Why is this version notable and not a smaller one like 4b2o$o2bobo2b2o$4obobobo$5bobo6b2o$2b2obobobo5bo$bo5bobobob2o$b2o6bobo$7bobobob4o$7b2o2bobo2bo$11b2o! or 10b2o$4bo5b2o$o2bobo10b2o$4obo2b6obobo$5bobo5bobo6b2o$2b2obobobobo3bobo5bo$bo5bobo3bobobobob2o$b2o6bobo5bobo$7bobob6o2bob4o$7b2o10bobo2bo$13b2o5bo$13b2o! ? --Galoomba (talk) 19:10, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

Just an accident of history, isn't it? That particular oscillator was in Dean Hickerson's stamp collection, and the smaller ones weren't. That version was probably in the stamp collection because the larger size made it a bit easier to see and understand the unit of repetition. Dvgrn (talk) 21:56, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
