Trans-carrier tie snake is a 12-cell still life.
Construction
This still life is known to be constructible with 5 gliders.[1] Some known alternate syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database.[2]
A 5-glider synthesis of this still life was found by Goldtiger997 in March 2021, making this the last 12-bit still life to be improved from 8 gliders.[3][4]

Occurrence
Among the 121 still lifes with 12 cells, this is the 108th most common (i.e. 14th rarest) still life according to Catagolue.
There are no collisions in octohash, octo3obj or octo3g databases with this still life occurring in the ash.
