It has been proposed that this page be moved to Cis-snake-tie due to the following reason: "Trans" usually indicates rotational symmetry and the components being farther apart.
The trans-snake-tie [1] is a 12-cell still life .
Construction
This still life is known to be constructible with 5 gliders.[1] A 5-glider synthesis was found by Carson Cheng and iNoMed on August 11, 2022 .[2] [3] Several known alternate syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database .[4]
