Trans-tub with long4 tail is a 12-cell still life.
This still life is comprised of the normally stable tub with a normally unstable long4 tail attached. While it technically has no isomers, it is named trans due to the corner part of the tail being farther from the tub; the other "isomer", cis-tub with long4 tail, has this corner part slightly closer.
Commonness
Among still lifes with 12 cells, this is the 91st most common still life according to Catagolue. Its position among all still lifes of all populations as a whole, however, is currently unknown.
Glider synthesis
All strict still lifes with a population of 22 or fewer cells, all oscillators with 16 or fewer cells, and all spaceships with 31 or fewer cells are known to be glider-constructible. A glider synthesis of this object can be found in the infobox to the right.
