Trivial p6-1 is a period-6 oscillator found by Dean Hickerson on December 10, 1994.[1] Unlike other trivial oscillators, its two rotors (which have periods 2 and 3 respectively) stabilize each other, but the oscillator as a whole is nonetheless considered trivial because no individual cell oscillates at the full period.
