Unicycle is a period-6 oscillator made up of four copies of unix reacting with each other at their blocks.

Matthias Merzenich found an 18-glider synthesis for this oscillator on October 4, 2014 based on a unix recipe found with apgsearch.[1] The unicycle itself first appeared semi-naturally in May 2015.[2]
