This is a small, unnamed tagalong which can be attached to any standard spaceship. The version to the right is this tagalong attached to a lightweight spaceship, resulting in a spaceship with a minimum population of 32. It can also be attached to a heavyweight spaceship in the same manner, as well as to a middleweight spaceship in two different ways. One standard spaceship can support two of these tagalongs.
This tagalong is not currently known to be synthesizable via gliders, making it notable due to the 32-cell lightweight spaceship being the smallest known spaceship with no known glider synthesis as of June 2023.[1][2] Indeed, none of the three higher order variants are synthesizable either, making them also among the smallest.
