Hash (abbreviated #, systematic name Hash1) is a Larger than Life cellular automaton. The rule was devised by b-engine. The name "Hash" is due to a cell having hash-like neighborhood.
Patterns
Still lifes
As of December 2023, 7 still lifes are known in Hash.
Oscillators
Some p2, p3, p4, p5, p16, p20 and p36 oscillators are known in Hash.
Spaceships
As of December 2023, only 2 spaceships are known in Hash, all being orthogonal.
Extended versions
The range n extended version of Hash is dubbed Hash(n-1).

Hash2 (abbreviated as #2) is R3 variant of Hash. It's dynamics is reminiscent of Hash1, but spaceships are more common. Soups also last longer in same random conditions.
Still lifes
One particular notable observation in Hash2 is that, there are over 40000 known still lifes exists. Mosts of them belongs to one of 7 families.
Oscillators
There're 15 known distinct oscillators in Hash2, however infinite p12s can be made by combining "duodecathlons".
Spaceships
Only 2 known spaceships are known in Hash2, named camel and thruster. Camel is the most common spaceship, hence being used in syntheses. Thruster is less common, however a collision between a common still life and a camel produces it.
