General:

• Undo newcomer’s or the wiki worker’s edits.
• Use multiple sockpuppets/alts and ask silly user-specific questions to draw attention from other forum members
• Post Steven He jokes (that happened to H. H. P. M. P. Cole once and dvgrn PMed him saying that some people are easily offended by such jokes)
• Quote a post more than a year old without adding something constructive
• Post messages that only say 'goodbye'
• Make puns of the admin’s real names.

Pattern representations:

• Use [viewer] tags instead of [code] tags repeatedly
• Use [viewer] tags on something non-groundbreaking without reducing the size using commands
• Post an image of a really complicated pattern instead of an RLE

Pattern-specific:

• Claim you discovered something ridiculous like a 12-cell c/3 spaceship and then insisting “well, you guys missed it, I guess”
• Rediscover the glider and call it 5P4H1V1
• Add a soup at the back of a copperhead and say that it is a c/9 spaceship
• Rediscover the cyclic for the 159th time.
• Post a useless SL, p2, or p3
• After somebody finishes a really big reduction to a spaceship/catalyst synthesis, say "Yeah but it can be done in 15"

OCA-specific:

• Post a strobing pattern without either warning beforehand or presetting the step to an even number

Terminology-specific:

• Use the term "hickerize" instead of "corderize"
• Use the term "moving oscillator" instead of "spaceship"

Script-specific:

• Claim some other program or app is better than Golly
• Mix up WLS, JLS, LLS, and LSSS
• Mix up afind, bfind, cfind, dfind, efind, ffind, gfind, hfind, ifind, jfind, kfind, lfind, mfind, nfind, ofind, pfind, qfind, rfind, sfind, tfind, ufind, vfind, wfind, xfind, yfind and zfind.

Thread-specific:

• Bump a thread where new posts are supposed to be exciting (like Soup search results or Small Spaceship Syntheses) without adding anything constructive

Discord-only:

• Bring back #channel-debate
• Say "Discord is already a wasteland"
• Sim Caterer in #exotic-ca
