With the grain is a term used for negative spaceships travelling in zebra stripes agar, parallel to the stripes, and also for with-the-grain grey ships.
Below are three small examples of negative spaceships found by Gabriel Nivasch in July 1999, traveling with the grain through zebra stripes agar.

A finite signal that travels non-destructively with the grain through zebra stripes must travel at the speed of light.[1]
