21-cell quadratic growth is a quadratic growth pattern that was found by dani on March 15, 2022.[1] It was formerly the smallest known pattern in terms of population to exhibit quadratic growth, surpassing a 22-cell pattern found a few days earlier. It has since been superseded by a 20-cell pattern found a few weeks later.
