55P10 is a period-10 sparker that was found on December 27, 2018 by Bullet51. The version shown in the infobox is a stator reduction found by Matthias Merzenich three days later. A skewed variant can be made by moving the right side down two cells and extending the left side of the gutter by two cells.[1] On March 22, 2019, Tanner Jacobi used this oscillator to construct smaller p50, p100, and p200 glider guns.[2]

A 120-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found by Tanner Jacobi on January 1, 2020.[3]
