Carrier bridge carrier is a 12-cell still life.
Construction
A 4G synthesis[1] (click above to open LifeViewer) |
Four gliders suffice to construct this still life. Several known alternate syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database.[1]
Occurrence
- See also: List of common still lifes
Among still lifes with 12 cells, this is the 49th most common still life according to Catagolue.
In diagonal symmetries, including 8-fold symmetries, it is much more common, becoming the sixth most common 12-cell still life.
There are no occurrences of this still life in final patterns of collisions in octohash, octo3obj or octo3g databases.
In other rules
In Grounded Life (B35/S23), carrier bridge carrier is about 1,500 times as common as it is in Life, making it the most common 12-cell still life by far.[2]
