Circle of fire is a period-2 oscillator discovered by Mark Niemiec in 1973.[1] A large muttering moat, it looks like a cross-shaped pattern hassling four gliders.
A glider synthesis for this oscillator was completed in August 2021,[2] using a final step found by praosylen in June 2020.[3]
