Cis-boat down on candlefrobra is a period-3 oscillator and one of four possible ways in which a candlefrobra can be stabilised by a boat, the three others being cis-boat up on candlefrobra, trans-boat up on candlefrobra and trans-boat down on candlefrobra.


Cis-boat down on candlefrobra is about the fifty-fifth most common naturally-occurring oscillator in Achim Flammenkamp's census[1] and the 67th most common oscillator on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue.

Glider synthesis

A 5-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found in November 2020 by bubblegum.[2]
