Cis-loaf with tail is an 11-cell still life.
This still life is comprised of the normally stable loaf with a normally unstable tail attached. This is one of two possible isomers, named cis due to the bulk of the loaf being closer to the tail; the other isomer, trans-loaf with tail, has most of the loaf facing outwards.
Occurrence
Cis-loaf with tail is the seventy-fourth most common still life in Achim Flammenkamp's census, being less common than symmetric scorpion but more common than bee hat.[1]
It is the 74th most common still life on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue, being less common than cis-loaf on table but more common than symmetric scorpion. It is the 6th most common still life with 11 cells, being less common than eleven loop but more common than cis-boat on table.[2]
This still life occurs in final patterns of 6 collisions in the octohash database[note 1] (including three clean seeds) and 3 collisions in the octo3obj database[note 2].

This still life is known to be constructible with 4 gliders.[3] Some known syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database.[4]
