Raucci's p38 (also called 44P38 ) is a period-38 oscillator found by David Raucci on January 12, 2022 .[1] It is the first finite oscillator of this period to be discovered, and was the smallest until the discovery of 42P38 . It consists of two wings being hassled by the traffic stop catalyst. The period-38 wing reaction was originally found in the form of an infinite wick by Jason Summers on August 31, 2000 .

The duoplet spark of the oscillator can reflect gliders in at least two ways, as shown by vivi [2] and Kalan Warusa .[3]
A 14-glider synthesis for this oscillator was found on the day of its discovery.[4]

The LCM oscillators below are the smallest known ones of their period by population while satisfying the condition that at least one cell oscillates at the full period. As 42P38 is two cells smaller, most LCMs requiring a p38 use it instead.
