Mold on candlefrobra or mold on long hook eating tub is any of four closely-related period-12 oscillators that are composed of a mold and a candlefrobra. With a minimum population of 24 cells, it is the smallest known period 12 oscillator, though it is considered trivial because there is no individual cell that oscillates at the full period (as it is made up of a period 3 and a period 4 oscillator). The smallest known non-trivial period 12 oscillator is mold on fire-spitting, with 31 cells.
