Non-trivial

A period-n oscillator is considered non-trivial if it contains at least one cell that oscillates at the full period -- that is, if it is not made up solely of separate oscillators with smaller periods, but includes a spark or other reaction that would not occur if all lower-period subpatterns, if any, were separated from each other.
