Orion 2 is a c/4 diagonal spaceship that was found by Jason Summers in May 1999. It consists of a glider plus a tagalong and is a smaller variant of Orion. At the time of its discovery, it superseded Canada goose as the smallest diagonal spaceship other than the glider; this title has since been taken by crab.

On January 10, 2022, Goldtiger997 completed a 74-glider recipe for the Orion 2, making in the fifth c/4 diagonal spaceship (excluding the glider itself) to have a known glider synthesis.[1]
