The cis-carrier down on table is a 12-cell still life based on the normally unstable table stabilised by the normally stable aircraft carrier.

Construction

A 6-glider synthesis for this still life was found in July 2020.[1] It has since been reduced to 5 gliders (see the synthesis in the infobox). Several known syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database.[2]

Occurrence

Among the 121 still lifes with 12 cells, this is the 51st most common still life according to Catagolue.

There are no occurrences of this still life in final patterns of collisions in octohash, octo3obj or octo3g databases.
