p26 dependent reflector loop is a period-26 oscillator based on a dependent period-26 reflector, discovered by Matthias Merzenich on February 19, 2012.[1] It was the smallest known period-26 oscillator in terms of minimum population until the discovery of 87P26 on August 7, 2015.
This oscillator was originally added to the LifeWiki under the name "p26 glider shuttle", but the term shuttle cannot be correctly used for a dependent reflector loop.[2]
Jeremy Tan found an 84-glider synthesis for this oscillator on June 7, 2019.[3]
