p84 honey farm hassler is a period-84 oscillator found by Mitchell Riley on May 10, 2022 using a modified version of CatForce which supports static symmetries.[1] With only 42 cells, it is the smallest known p84 oscillator by population, surpassing 52P84.

A 16-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found on the day of its discovery.[2] An unknown user improved this to 13 gliders soon after: two gliders for each of the honey farms and three of the fishhooks, and three gliders for the last fishhook. On July 16, 2023, Chris857 reduced the cost to 12 gliders.[3][4]

On June 21, iNoMed found that this oscillator could be used to filter a period-28 glider gun, resulting in a p84 gun with a bounding box of only 35 × 47.[5]
