Pentadecathlon on Thumb 1 is a period45 oscillator composed of a pentadecathlon and thumb 1. Although it consists of two oscillators of smaller periods (15 and 9 respectively), it is considered nontrivial, because it contains a single cell that oscillates at the full period. In terms of its 48 cells, it was the smallest known nontrivial period 45 oscillator until the discovery of the p45 piheptomino hassler in 2022.
